Fabric Swatch Ordering

Fabric Swatch Ordering

Our Fabric Swatch service is free of charge, and up to ten swatches can be ordered at one time. In addition to our standard collection listed below, we also offer a range of contract fabrics for hospitality or contract interiors. Shop our contract section here.

Please note that we do not sell our fabrics by the metre. We are however happy to order metreage (be it the same or a co-ordinate) if it forms part of an upholstery order.

We hope that our designs will translate well into any number of interior settings and have worked on our fabric selection to develop an aesthetic and colour palette that works in harmony with our Upholstery shapes. Each evokes a quality that is quintessential to the ethos behind Living Room. Colour is key, with a broad selection of options offered across each fabric style to ensure that you have choice across your own chosen colour palette.

Our fabric sourcing, as with our choice of manufacturing partners, is as important to us as the end product, resulting in a conscious choice to use only British and European fabrics that all share the same sensibility of provenance, durability, longevity and quality. Take advantage of our ten swatch service to choose which option is right for you.

TERMOLST | Soft Linen Cotton

Offered in a choice of 4 colours, our cotton linen is from one of Belgium’s most well respected linen mills. Combining the natural texture of linen with the soft sheen of viscose, this textured weave offers both practicality and durability with a very contemporary take on Mid-Century style. Established in 1953, Termolst, which is Flemish for ‘on the farm’ after being founded on the site of a linen flax farm, specialises in high performance fabrics with a very natural feel. This 50’s inspired weave brings a unique level of character to our upholstery collections and we are delighted to be collaborating with this family run mill. ABRAHAM MOON | Melton Wools

Our 100% wools, offered in a choice of 16 colours, are made by Abraham Moon & Sons, Britain’s last remaining fully vertical wool mill. Their process is one that sees all aspects of production from dyeing, blending, carding and spinning to weaving all taking place on the same unique site.

Celebrating 180 years of manufacturing history in 2017, Netherfield Mill in Guiseley, West Yorkshire has been supplying high quality wools and tweeds to the fashion industry for generations, from Saville Row to Paul Smith. Their expansion into furnishing fabrics in 2000 applies the same attention to detail.

The unique blending process that they employ, combining several colours of wool into each yarn before spinning, lends each fabric in their range a unique character and depth of colour with a durability that will ensure your upholstery lasts and endures. Their quality level is such that it is also suitable for contract and hospitality use.

A company of worldwide renown, we are hugely proud to be working with this unique mill. Click to order a swatch.

‘New Neutrals’ Linoso Wool Linen Mix

This capsule range of 4 new 100% ‘Melton’ wool colours (duplicated above in the Melton section) is offered alongside a new ‘Linoso’ wool linen mix. Woven in the same Guiseley mill as our Melton wools, the inclusion of natural linen in this weave lends it a characterful textured look. Available in the same four ‘new neutral’ colours, allowing you to order different fabric textures across the same colour palette.

With a heritage that dates back to 1783, Camira manufactures high quality wools from its mill in Huddersfield, Yorkshire. Specialising in fabrics for contract use, their reputation for design and manufacturing excellence is well founded. We love their ‘Main Line Flax’ wool linen mix, a hugely hard wearing fabric made from sustainable resources. Natural linen flax has been blended into a 70% wool 30% flax blend of fibre dyed yarn. Made to contract quality, this is a perfect choice for families and where durability is key. Featuring a woven blend of yarns, this characterful textured weave works beautifully with our Mid Century inspired designs. Certified to the EU Ecolabel standard and made from renewable and compostable resources. Click to order a swatch.

100% Cotton Velvet

Nothing speaks of luxury like cotton velvet. A fabric that really cannot be imitated, cotton affords this chosen velvet a beautiful matt quality that lends it a quiet glamour without looking over powering, and a softness of handle that makes you want to stay put once seated. The 12 colours offered vary from strong statement to under statement, depending on your choice. Click to order a swatch.

Linen Mix Tweed

This characterful textured tweed has been chosen for its own contemporary interpretation of the classic Mid-Century furnishings fabrics of the post war era. Offered in 6 colours, from classic greys to strong statement brights, all contain a beautiful mix of colours in each weave. Despite this fabric’s high linen content, which provides it’s chunky texture, the mixed material composition ensures that is has a very soft handle as well as great durability.
